With growing health awareness and government mandates for electronic medical records (EMR) through Satu Sehat, modern pharmacies must act as integrated care providers. Pharmacies supporting independent medical practices need connected ecosystems to serve patients efficiently.
Through the EMR module in APO POS, we built a digital bridge between practicing doctors and pharmacists. Doctors log symptoms, allergies, and issue digital prescriptions directly to the pharmacy register, eliminating paper prescriptions that get lost or misread.
This digital prescription integration cut patient wait times by half. Pharmacists no longer need to verify handwriting manually; all dosage instructions and drug compositions appear clearly on the screen, reducing medication errors.
